Just North of Los Angeles, our class D, airspace offers pilots a training environment that allows easy learning on how to work with a control tower from day one, yet is not so busy as to be intimidating. Our close proximity to LAX and Class B airspace allows the advancing student pilot to gradually become familiar with more the complex airspace nearby while experiencing a variety of instrument approaches and commercial traffic procedures.
